Peta Morrison
Peta Morrison is the Principal and Managing Director of Keola Pty Ltd. She started in the jewellery business in 2004 after many years in the corporate world. Peta is passionate about a number of things, not the least jewellery, she is very excited about the jewellery industry and like everything she undertakes her research and networking is second to none.
Peta’s formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Degree with majors in Industrial Law and Customer Relations.
Peta’s other passions include her 4 children, her family and friends, Business@breakfast (a business networking group), the Women in Business mentoring program and Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) which is a charity dedicated to bringing music to disadvantaged children of which Peta is a Board Member.
Her experience in business for the last 10 years has been as a Marketing Manager for a Mercedes- Benz Dealership for 6 years and Group General Manger of this company for the last 4 years. She is widely knowledgeable in all areas of customer service; an area in which she prides herself on striving for excellence.
Experience in the retail industry gave Peta a vast understanding of the needs of clients, both internal and external. She regularly dealt with a wide variety of suppliers as one of her roles was procurement of company supplies. Peta hopes to pass on her Management, Customer Relations and Marketing skills when required to Keola resellers.
Mercedes-Benz is a product known for its class, quality, superior customer satisfaction and service. Peta endeavours to bring the business knowledge she gained whilst working for such a wonderful organisation to the management and day to day running of Keola.
Keola is her passion she has had an intense desire to own and manage her own business for some time. This is her dream come true! She loves the business her enthusiasm and dedication is infectious.
Julie Bartley
Julie Bartley Keola’s Sales Manager started in the jewellery business in 2000 when she commenced her own business called Juni Chakra Jewellery with a designer/maker in Melbourne, Nikki Hepburn. From small beginnings she developed her hand beaded, semi precious range into a successful business selling across the board from retail outlets to specialist markets/events and direct marketing.
Julie’s formal qualifications include a Diploma of Education, Diploma of Shiatsu and a Diploma in Aromatherapy, Massage and Body Work.
Julie has spent many years practising as a Shiatsu Practitioner including 4 years working for the European Shiatsu School in London as a teacher.
Other experience Julie has had during her working career include; managing suburban newspapers in Melbourne and working as a Sales Representative for UK Publications.
Julie has 2 beautiful children and lists her passions as jewellery, yoga, NIA, walking, seaside trips with friends and relaxing at home (when possible) preferably with a good book.
Julie brings to Keola experience in the jewellery market, zest and a desire to provide superb customer service to her large network of established stockists.
Michelle Burke
Michelle Burke manages Marketing and Public Relations for Keola on a consultancy basis.
Other areas of expertise Michelle has in her consultancy business include;
Account Manager and publicist for tourism and entertainment clients including W Sydney, Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa, Nick’s restaurants, Diesel and others and also assists with media placement across all clients, launches and other events project by project at Davidson Communications.
Michelle worked for Ansett Airlines as a flight attendant for a number of years before their collapse. Since then she has worked in the media industry as an account Manger, Marketing Advisor and Publicist.
Some of Michelle’s many interests include cooking (she is a fabulous cook), reading, movies, spending time with her 10 year old son, friends and dinner out.
Michelle is a great asset to the company and brings excellent media relationships, experience and attention to detail to the unique role she plays. |
